I'm a 73-year-old grandfather, my name is Alberto and I live in Zogno, Italy. I'm a cheerful, sincere person, and I love my family, including my wife and two wonderful daughters, who have made me a grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren.
In my life, I've had good times but also difficult ones, like many others, I think. Throughout my life, I've held various jobs, from warehouse accounting manager to community service. From about 34, I began to suffer from back pain, and over time, having also done heavy work, the situation worsened until about 5 years ago. I was diagnosed with a spinal cord injury, and I underwent surgery, which, however, failed to have the desired results. Furthermore, for almost two years, I've also been undergoing eye treatment because I suffer from glaucoma. I had surgery on my left eye to block the pressure in my eyeball, otherwise I would have been almost blind. I've also been suffering from thrombosis in my left leg for a year. Unfortunately, to maintain better health, I always have to undergo physiotherapy treatments and eye medications, which are always my own expense. Since I rent, the costs are too high, which prevents me from living comfortably.
