Mission Description

Prasad is a wonderful person, with tremendous humility who has dedicated his life to his Spiritual Sadhana, spending forty years in India serving his beloved Ashram. Now at 78 years old, Prasad is in a place where he should be able to retire and live out his last years in peace, unfortunately this is not the case as he has insufficient financial support for his situation.

The last few years have seen a decline in his health and he is unable to afford essential medical bills for two serious issues - namely a large intestinal hernia that is very painful and makes it difficult to move freely, requires an operation, as well as visiting the dentist, as majority of his teeth are now falling out and rotting, which is also very painful.

His small community of friends support him as best they can, providing food and accommodation, but have not been in a position to provide the much needed medical treatment.

This fundraiser is setup to cover the costs of the medical treatment needed, as well as serve as a small ongoing fund which Prasad can use for his day to day needs.

It will mean a great deal for Prasad to receive this care which he truly deserves.
