I have created this Project on behalf of Kevin and Gina in the hope to support them.

Recently Kevin had a fatal Heart attack which became life threatening and created severe health implications. The heart attack led to Heart Failure, cardiac resuscitation, and put him on Life support for one week. He went into organ failure and only by a miracle, survived this episode. He was hospitalized for weeks and months, and will require a substantial and ongoing rehabilitation (up to one year or more). Gina, Kevin’s wife had to stop her day job in order to fully take care of Kevin. This situation involved huge medical treatment bills, while both their regular incomes were reduced to a minimal and Kevin is now on disability status.

The aftermath of this is frightening. Kevin, now 64 years old is most likely unable to resume his long-term job, meaning he would be losing his income. Gina is devastated and maybe also forced to become Kevin’s ongoing caretaker; hence her work income is also jeopardized.

Kevin and Gina are humble and simple human beings. Right now, they have a home, which they have dedicated their lives to maintaining by hard work ethic and patience as they wish to enter into retirement years. Kevins current situation has become a radical life changing scenario, because their source of income can not provide them the means to cover their life’s basics.
